AB presenteert de 6e editie van BRDCST! De jaarlijkse hoogmis voor de muzikale avonturier verwelkomt op 7, 8 en 9 april om en bij de 30 artiesten uit vier verschillende continenten.
Verwacht je aan een verrassende mix van Marokkaanse punk, avant-garde pow wow, Tuvaanse keelzang, (transcendentale) jazz, gelaagde electronica, improv, underground rap, Gregoriaanse gezangen, Turkse psychedelica, Japanse folk, een lading post punk, Chicago footwork, Zuid-Afrikaanse gqom en hedendaags klassiek. Onder meer James Holden, Gaye Su Akyol, Zoh Amba, The Dwarfs of East Agouza, Kode9, Taqbir, Joe Rainey en Steve Gunn tekenen present. Met “The Ideal Antidote For Paranoia & Hysteria” als geweldige ondertitel.
Geen wonder dat er ook dit jaar een integrale Sterrenplaten-uitzending aan gewijd wordt, en wel nu vrijdag, en met AB’s artistiek directeur Kurt Overbergh op bezoek.
