De Beste Albums van 2023 volgens Sterrenplaten

De traditionele eindejaarsuitzending van Sterrenplaten, met anno 2023 – muzikaal gelukkig wel opnieuw een hoogvlieger – een kloeke lijst die nauwelijks in een anderhalf uur durende uitzending past. Herbeluisteren kan hieronder, de volledige lijst vind je na de jump. Tot in 2024!

2023. Weinig poespas en met een rotvaart passerend. In volle overstuurde glorie.

Vitaal. Doet denken aan vroege collagekunst.
Een soulvol gebeuren. Rauwer en scherper. En het gaat ontiegelijk hard.
Uit het ene stoffige uithoekje van de platenzaak. Meditatiemuziek voor mensen met een chronische funkverslaving. Keyboards komen zeer prominent naar voren.

Een zonnestraal, het betere knip en plak werk. Een curieuze mix van optimisme en berusting in de staat der dingen. To the point en een verhalenverteller. De Ernest Hemingway van rap. Ouderdomsdeken
Een somber ooggetuigenverslag van de condition humane, en tegelijkertijd ook een strijdkreet om onze eigen tuin te cultiveren.

Musique concrète voor antropomorfische huishoudtoestellen. Het meest gefocuste van de laatste 20 jaar. Field recordings elektronisch binnenste buiten gedraaid. Klinkt heel ruw, opgenomen tussen fabriekshifts in de auto.

Het wappert onbevangen als de manen van een jaren tachtig paard. Een speciale periode. Bedankt voor het luisteren.
