The Vineyard rouwt nu Sly & Robbie er niet meer zijn.

Op maandag 26 januari 2026 overleed Lowell Fillmore “Sly” Dunbar. Hij vervoegt in de eeuwige reggae dancehall zijn levenslange vriend en collega Robert Warren Dale “Robbie” Shakespeare die op 8 december 2021 van ons heenging.

Het leven op aarde wat saaier, de eeuwige dancehall in volle feest. Zij zijn hier niet meer maar wij beloven hun muziek door uw boxen te blijven pompen.

Rest in peace Sly Dunbar… of eerder: RAISE THE ROOF WHERE EVER YOU ARE!

Sterrenplaten: Artefact Sound 2026 Special (+vrijkaarten)

Artefact Sound 2026 strijkt van 12 februari tot 1 maart 2026 opnieuw neer in STUK in Leuven, en blijft daarbij trouw aan zijn reputatie: het strafste uit de internationale avontuurlijke muziek en geluidskunst, naast vernieuwers uit de Belgische Underground.

Hoogtepunten uit de affiche zijn zeker Abdullah Miniawy, Mazen Kerbaj, [Ahmed], Shovel Dance Collective, en de traditionele Artefact Night.

We wijden de hele Sterrenplaten nu vrijdag aan Artefact Sound 2026, met Stuk Sound curator Gilles Helsen die alles tot in de details toelicht. Je maakt bovendien kans op vrijkaarten voor de avonden met [Ahmed] / 1984 (zaterdag 14 februari) en Shovel Dance Collective (vrijdag 27 februari) tijdens de uitzending.

Nu vrijdag vanaf 21u naar Radio Scorpio via 106fm (Leuven) of www.radioscorpio.be (wereldwijd) luisteren is de boodschap.
