Sterrenplaten: Vrijkaarten ELUCID (Botanique)

Deze vrijdag hebben we iets om het weekend bijzonder goed in te zetten. Sterrenplaten op Radio Scorpio geeft vrijkaarten weg voor het concert van ELUCID.

ELUCID, bekend als de helft van het fenomenale hip-hop duo Armand Hammer, blijft de grenzen van hip hop verleggen. Geboren in Jamaica, tart hij al een tijdje de conventies van het genre. Zijn debuutplaat ‘Save Yourself’ zette hem stevig op de kaart, en zijn samenwerkingen met billy woods als Armand Hammer is het beste wat er het laatste decennium aan de oostkust gebeurt.

Nu keert ELUCID terug met zijn nieuwe soloplaat ‘REVELATOR’, de opvolger van ‘I Told Bessie’, opnieuw staat hij in de Botanique, op zaterdag 8 februari.

Dat is nog niet alles: We In The Zoo, een project ontstaan uit een Brusselse ontmoeting tussen JASMIN en SVDU, zal ook optreden. Hun muziek is een mix van poëzie, abstracte rap en performance en wordt uitgevoerd in zowel Engels als Frans.

Ook Gonzo (Circus) maakt haar opwachting in de nieuwe Sterrenplaten, editie #185 is namelijk net uit. De Geluidsarchitect komt er alles over vertellen.

De Rosse Draad is een wekelijks programma waarin we verschillende thema’s tot een samenhorend geheel vormen. We graven in de underground en brengen onze waardevolste vondsten tot bij jullie. Bovendien tracht De Rosse Draad regelmatig gasten te ontvangen in de studio. Op die manier brengen zij hun eigen invloeden in de ether en gaat het van funky elektronica tot psychedelic rock. Het zoeken naar nieuwe muziek is waar het om draait.
