Rust in vrede Trish Keenan van Broadcast

Bericht van het Warp-label:

It is with great sadness we announce that Trish Keenan from Broadcast passed away at 9am this morning in hospital. She died from complications with pneumonia after battling the illness for two weeks in intensive care.

Our thoughts go out to James, Martin, her friends and her family and we request that the public respect their wishes for privacy at this time.

This is an untimely tragic loss and we will miss Trish dearly – a unique voice, an extraordinary talent and a beautiful human being. Rest in Peace.

Club 106 Party

 
Club 106 zet het jaar 2011 in met een vet FEEST in jeugdhuis Sojo!  Speciaal voor deze avond verwelkomen we een dj-duo uit Bilbao "Autosound".  Deze heren zijn residents/uitbaters van de legendarische Fever Club (meer info op fever.es).  Ze reisden reeds ongeveer de halve wereld rond om met hun dj-skills de volledige dansvloer in lichterlaaie te zetten!  We verwachten ditmaal niks anders 🙂

Woensdag 8 december

Dinsdagavond werd er betoogd tegen het politiebeleid van Leuven. Verkleed als smurfen overhandigden de betogers (samengebracht door onder andere Comac en Gras) hun eisenbundel aan de politie. Wij vroegen Studenteninspecteur Nic Vanden Bussche én Line De Witte van Comac bij ons in de studio en legden beide meningen naast elkaar. Benieuwd?


Boekenverkoop in de Centrale Bib, wij gingen er naartoe en vroegen de mensen waarom we nu daar onze boeken zouden kopen en welke pareltjes zij al onder de arm hadden! Klik

Gerty kwam naar goede gewoonte langs en vertelde ons alles over de mutsen die in de mode zijn! Jij wil waarschijnlijk ook stijlvol zijn? Of net niet! Anywho, klik hier.

Ten slotte belden we met Mike van het Depot over de verhuis en verbouwingen van de concertzaal! Dat moet u horen.

Sinterklaasmaandag 6 December

Honderden kinderen per jaar sturen een brief naar de GoedHeilige Man, maar wie zorgt er voor dat al die post bij die lieve  Sint terecht komt? Wij vroegen het aan de Sintensecretaris Fred Lens. Wil jij ook weten waar je brief naartoe ging? Luister hier.

Na Sinterklaas was het tijd voor de Kerstman.
