Sterrenplaten: Kaboom Karavan!

Een van onze favoriete personen keert terug naar de Radio Scorpio-studio. Niet alleen, hij brengt een nieuwe fabuleuze plaat mee. Vier jaar na ‘The Log And The Leeway’ is er ‘Fiasko!‘ het nieuwe album van Bram Bosteels aka Kaboom Karavan.

“Oh damn I got fired suddenly, replaced by a hydraulic pump with life long guarantee” is de eerste zin van de perstekst. Het startschot is gegeven.

‘Fiasko!’ presenteert zich als tegengif voor een steriele en saaie wereld. Het is protestmuziek tegen het nieuwe normaal, waar de regels overboord worden gegooid en onvoorspelbare vreugde de boventoon voert. ‘Fiasko!’ is hedendaagse exotica.

Zoals gewoonlijk bevat de muziek van Kaboom Karavan een amalgaam van bevreemdende, meestal zelfgemaakte instrumentatie. Bram is kapitein van het schip, maar met ditmaal Bart Maris, Stefaan Smagghe en Raphael de Cock als handlangers.

Sterrenplaten is uitzonderlijk nu zaterdag 15 juni vanaf 15u te beluisteren via Radio Scorpio, met Kaboom Karavan 90 minuten te gast met ‘Fiasko!’ als leidraad.
