Sterrenplaten meets R&S

R&S Records: without a doubt a cornerstone in electronic music history. Since the early 90's founders Renaat Vandepapeliere and Sabine Maes licensed the most innovative artists in the scene like Aphex Twin, Derrick May, Ken Ishi, Carl Craig, Joey Beltram, CJ Bolland, Kenny Larkin, Jaydee and Model 500 to name a few. The record label's catalogue is nothing short of stunning and paved the way for many others.
 

In 2012, R&S proves electronic music is still an evolving medium and supports a whole roster of visionary minds, featuring the likes of James Blake, Pariah, Lone, Bullion, Teengirl Fantasy and Vondelpark. 

 

Renaat Vandepapeliere is Sterrenplaten 's guest next Friday January 20, from 21 CET on. Don't expect a greatest hits collection, but a refined and personal selection of the most essential R&S 90's cuts in the first hour of the show.
