Netwaves.bpm brengt je alle bpm gerelateerde vrije muziek van over de hele wereld en giet dat in een mix. Daarvoor kunnen we een beroep doen op onze eigen huis dj's RuE9, Indip, JSPR en Embe, maar ook vele andere gast dj's uit zowel binnen- als buitenland.
Ook vind je ons terug op diverse evenementen en concerten. Vele dj-sets werden ondertussen al op http://www.archive.org/details/netwaves-bpm geplaatst weer ze gretig worden gedownload, en het einde is nog niet in zicht!

First we like to thank everybody who was around @ Café Entrepot at 'our' edition of Lazy Sunday! And ofcourse the people who enjoyed the live broadcast!
After last week's being full with guestmixes RuE9 did it themselves this week!
Last Sunday was so inspiring that we could not loose that moment of creativity!

The first hour is a capture between the 29th and the 44th release of the UK-base

SWISHCOtheque netlabel and is build out of tracks pushing and pulling you between floordancing and braindancing on acidish vibes.

The second hour we have a guestmix from DJ Khoisan on the South Afcican Bushmenrecords.
It 's the 2nd part of a 3 part series of mixes by Dj Khoisan, inspired by the movie "The Matrix", also dubbed the alternative soundtrack to the "The Matrix". As always, it contains only music by netlabel / creative commons artists and free music pioneers. Performed in the virtual underground club, Sub-Domain.

This mix is released on both on Bushmen Records and the Italian netlabel 51beats as part of a combined netlabel artist exchange initiative.

Since RuE9 decided to set things in anonther angle on this season's netwaves.bpm we present you two hours of mixes made by netlabelists other than the common netwaves.bpm residents.
We'll keep it it little bit around us though!

The first hour a mix that come sfrom the

Stratospherik netlabel, one of RuE9's first loves, were we selected one hour from Stratoliner. Stratospherik does mostly commercial releases the latest time but the stuff that is brought tonight dates from the 'netlabel-erra'.

The second hour is dedicadet to our neighbours from Louvain-La-Neuve,

Kopp netlabel! The set is an extreme contrast with the first hour and that makes ik exiting! Kopp is mostly ambient, dark ambient, noise, scapes...

We're trowing a party to celebrate 5 yrs netwaves, 200 episodes and 25 yrs vzw MUP (our flagship!)
The party will feature, besides the residents embe, jspr, RuE9 & Indip, two livesets from Liquidbass and Dektro
To tease all of you all we start with a 45min set from Liquidbass followed by a set digged out of Gleichtakt brought by RuE9.

We will open with a nice set from RuE9, who will continue the Stadtgruen story of last week. This mix is of their sublabel "Culture" and will speed things up a little bit. Honour to Stadtgruen | Nature

For the second hour xtatic digged deep in his virtual bags to honour the German netlabel Stadtgruen. The people behind the label decided to stop activities after a 2,5yr period of hibernation...
Between january 2004 and may 2008 they brought the world 45 releases spread over the subs 'Nature' and 'Culture'
RuE9 selected the more chilly, housy ones from 'Nature'
Ofcourse the releases stay available on their site (for now) and on 'archive' (forever!). Playlist can be found here...
